The city of Sunderfeld spreads across the entirety of the King's Valley. With its fertile fields, gentle rivers, and sheltering mountains, the Kingdom of Constonia is famous for its wealthy and well-defended capital. Though many have assaulted the metropolis over the many centuries of its existence, no invading army has ever successfully ascended the entirety of the road to the royal palace, much less besiege its walls. From such a position, it is no surprise that Constonia has solidified itself as the premiere power in the world.
The throne is not the only reason for Sunderfeld's importance. Among the mountains and plains, nobles and businessmen make their homes, and in the great cathedrals the Church of Manasta leads Constonia in their holy wars. Corporations build their headquarters, bankers manage their coin, and the boutiques set the fashion that the rest of the world follows. Most of all it is here that the national congress, the Royal Court of Nobles of Constonia, convenes to craft the future of their kingdom and the world at large.
